The Port Elliot Rotary Market is open on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays from October to May. Except for the holiday season when we open the 1st, 3rd and 4th Saturday of December and every Saturday in January. .

We open from 9.00am – 2.00pm. and are located at Lakala Reserve, Port Elliot.

THE MARKET

The market runs throughout the summer season from October to May. Set in a beautiful, cool park with a lake and playground, it features over 40 stalls offering a variety of products, including food, coffee, children's clothes, beachwear, plants, books, specialty teas, hand-crafted goods, boutique wines and craft beers and more. It is family and dog friendly with ample parking and is an easy walk from historic Port Elliot.

STALLHOLDERS

Port Elliot Market stallholders offer a vibrant mix of local produce, handmade crafts, books, preserves, and native bush honey. With over 40 vendors, many are passionate locals who value community connection. Their dedication and diversity create a welcoming atmosphere that draws visitors and supports the region’s small-scale producers.

This Market is managed by the Rotary Club of Encounter Bay, a distinguished community service organization located in the Southern Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia. The club is committed to promoting goodwill, supporting local initiatives, and fostering leadership development. Through its fundraising and volunteer efforts, it significantly contributes to projects aimed at improving education, health, and social welfare in the region.

Revenue generated from managing the markets has enabled the club to provide over $40,000 in grants and community support to various organizations within the Victor Harbor and Alexandrina Council areas over the past year.
